HISTORY

James & George Collie are one of the longest-established legal practices in the North East of Scotland, dating back to 1841 with the partnership forming in 1856. This solid foundation ensures the firm is part of the very fabric of the business community in our area and has afforded us the opportunity to evolve a full range of legal services from our base in Aberdeen, Europe's energy capital. Our dedicated lawyers offer a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to how we believe legal issues should be tackled, with common sense a key component in how we advise our clients. We recognise, too, the worth of local knowledge which is not only beneficial to our local clients but also to those coming from outwith the North East of Scotland.

Whilst James & George Collie have a long history throughout the North East of Scotland for providing quality legal services, we are committed to providing a continually evolving and modern approach.

This traditional, yet progressive, approach to the range of legal services we provide help us not only meet but exceed client expectations.

James & George Collie are well known for infusing quality with value, with our offering of friendly and practical advice yielding satisfied clients who recommend (see our testimonial page) our legal services. We are incredibly proud to have acted for successive generations of clients.
