New Partner in the Firm06 March 2019 Written by James & George Collie

AMC 007We are delighted to announce that Miss Anne-Maryse Churchill has been assumed as a partner in the firm with effect from 1st November 2009.

A native of Paisley, Anne-Maryse graduated in Law from Aberdeen University in 1985 and began her legal career in the City. She became a partner in George Mathers & Co in 1990 and in 1994 she became Aberdeen’s first female sole practitioner when she formed her own firm of Churchill and Company.

In joining us she brings with her not only the clients and business contacts she won and developed in Churchill and Company but also her expertise in conveyancing, private client and general chamber work. Anne-Maryse says “One of my primary motivations in joining James & George Collie is to offer a wider range of legal services to my existing clients.”

Anne-Maryse will continue her long association with Aberdeen University as an Honorary Lecturer in Conveyancing and Professional Ethics.

Her talents extend beyond the law and teaching – she originally trained in classical ballet and attributes her hard work and discipline to the years that she spent as a dancer.
